I’m on a new kick this month. I’m going to try and drop 20 lbs by the end of the month. I’m doing this with the standard diet/exercise combo. The diet is basically a slow-carb diet of just a few meals. My breakfast this morning was scrambled egg whites, black beans and asparagus. It was tasty and there’s no portion stuff to deal with–just eat till I’m full.
So the weigh-in this morning was 233.4. That’s the starting point. I’ll try to get to around 213 by the end of this month. I won’t be posting daily updates or anything, just a weigh-in now and again. Wish me luck!
Good luck!! I’m battling myself…put on some weight suddenly this last year. Stinks! The metabolism changes but the eating habits stay the same…I’m trying to get in the gym here in Seoul everyday and eat better too…

Joanie and I started a diet a week and a half ago. I’ve lost 13 lbs so far. The first two weeks are tough; no carbs, no sugar, no alcohol. All of my staples…gone. Next Monday we get to reintroduce some good carbs, and a glass of wine. Nice.

Can anyone tell me how to gain weight? I do all the wrong things and can’t gain an ounce. My diet of beer, pizza, fried Chinese food has no impact on my weight =(
