Why Obama

I have been, and remain, a fan of Dennis Kucinich. A Kucinich presidency would be truly revolutionary, which is why he’ll never get the job. So these days I’ve become a fan of Barack Obama. Today I encountered a great video by Larry Lessig on why he supports Obama. Take the 18 minutes and 32 seconds to absorb it.

  1. Enabling peace, I like that. I did some hard thinking the night before I filled out my mail-in ballot and re-watched Kucinich and Obama’s You Tube You Choose ’08 Intro videos. If Clinton had been knocked out of the voting by then, I might have voted for Kucinich, but feel too much at stake not to vote Obama. Kucinich does not have that mainstream appeal and Obama can lead in the same direction.

I do not know who Lessig is and did not learn anything new. A study of Bill and his Dubai millions and perhaps Dubai lobbyists that contribute to her campaign, makes her quite suspect in my eyes. Dubai workers are treated in inhuman manor. Without Iraq there might not be a Dubai~jet set’s latest luxury resort.

I am one of those Code Pink ladies. When Iraqi females came to the USA to join Code Pink in begging Hillary to do what she could to end the war she said she gave it careful study. Now she says “we acted on faulty intelligence”. Oops, sorry about that is not good enough. She has also voted yes to the Iran Resolution that passed in the Senate, whereas Obama wrote a Resolution to slow down the rush into Iran.

I have noticed that whatever she accuses Obama of, is actually her own faults. I also think their health care is different in that she wants mandated with penalty; ie: garnish poor people’s wages. Even Obama says she is smart. I do not find her to be so in her choices and her plans.
