We weren&#8217;t able to stay long since he had to go to his art class.  But Grandpa enjoyed seeing Tru&#8217;s &#8216;hawk and he told us that way back in the day, he (Grandpa) paid his little brother 10\u00a2 to let Grandpa shave his hair into a mohawk and then go downtown and buy a sucker.  Grandpa was laughing as he remembered the story.  When I asked if his brother was embarassed to go downtown with his mohawk, Grandpa laughed and said, &#8220;Aw, he didn&#8217;t care!&#8221;  Grandpa also reminded me that my dad had a &#8216;hawk when he was a kid too.  So Tru&#8217;s got plenty of precedent&#8211;the &#8216;hawk was nearly inevitable!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We went to visit with Grandpa Gordon last week.
