\nHammersurf, a Northwest surfboard company, put out a call for original footage featuring surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Ten films were selected to screen at “Proven in the Northwest<\/a>,” a benefit for Skaters for Portland Skateparks. Look for “O.T.” which chronicles a group of over-30 skate rats from Portland. The friends began skating plywood halfpipes in the 1980s, and the film captures their trajectories from skate punks to responsible fathers and husbands who still skate.<\/p>\n
